what conditions are the killies kept in?

jamesstill84
10-13-2009, 12:57 PM
They are kept in PH 7.4-7.6; Temp of 75F. I have 1 pair that I believe to be pregnant and 1 pair that is slightly smaller that isn't pregnant.

The pictures of are of the parents. The male killis are already showing the red and yellow on the fins and the body is a light blue.

Hmmm i am very tempted... are they bullies? oh and what do you feed them?

jamesstill84
10-13-2009, 2:14 PM
We kept them in a 55 gallon community tank with fish no larger than 2" and they never nipped anything. Didn't bother my RCS or snails or anything. They pretty much stay to themselves if in a community setting.

I feed the Frozen Brine and live mosquito larvae along with the regular flakes, pellets, etc. They even get some snail jello from time to time.
