It's been some time since I've been to these forums. My tank has been reduced to low/no maintenance plants and fish that are seemingly indestructible.

There's a reason I've been so neglectful of the fish tanks. I've been helping one of my friends from high school with his wedding photography business, and I wanted to showcase some of his stuff. I help out, but almost all of the shots displayed are his and all the post processing is him too. It's weird pointing a camera at people instead of a tank for a change.

http://www.harrisonlongphotography.com/ I prefer the blog to the standard portfolio for browsing, but you can choose which one you want to look through.

I'm really proud of his work and glad to be helping him out. He was even nominated for a best in LA. If you like his stuff, I'd really appreciate a vote here (http://myfoxla.cityvoter.com/harrison-long-photography/biz/501342). It does require a registration and email confirmation but it's painless and spam free. Your vote actually counts as he is down a few votes right now in third place. The vote is counted even if you're not in the LA area. Even if you don't want to vote, I'd like to hear some feedback.

Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words. I think everyone thinks they can be a photographer in this day and age but it really takes a good idea and a lot of practice to be really good. That's why I'm so impressed with my friend's work and glad to be helping him. I just fill in with the "make sure you have some evidence of all the happenings" photos. Nothing artistic on my end.
