Hi everyone, I could use some help. Our saltwater tank at school is brimming with aiptasia, and I'm having a hard time finding Berghia to take care of the problem without busting the budget. If anyone has any (esp. anyone near San Diego) that they are trying to sell, or just keep from starving, please let me know. Also, if anyone knows of any websites where you could buy them for less than $12-$20 each, that would be appreciated also.

I'll throw this out there, because recently I stumbled upon the bristle-tailed filefish, which is largely reef safe and eats Aiptasia. There is still potential that it can nip at certain types of coral, but I haven't noted it yet and most people don't seem to, either. It is a safer alternative than any of the butterflyfishes. They are also relatively inexpensive compared to other alternatives. You can also check out our classifieds section and see if something turns up.
Beyond that, I would suggest looking on eBay, as there are often Berghia verrucicornis on there quite frequently, at least from what I've seen.
