does anyone know how to sex my pumpkinseed sunfish i was just wonderin if there was a dead bang way to know :huh:

Males are more brightly colored and females are fuller in the lower part of their body from the vent to the tail. The color difference is most notable when spawning, and the body difference is most notable right before spawning when the female is full of eggs. The color is probably the easiest way, but it's not a slam dunk.
