Welcome to the October 2009 Photo Of The Month competition.
Voting is now open to everybody, one vote only per person.
There will be a limited 14 days voting period, followed by the selection of a winner with the highest number of votes from AquariaCentral.com . If in the instance of more than one winner is selected (same number of votes), a secondary 7 days voting would be held to determine the winner.
The winner of the previous months POTM contest will not be eligible to enter another Photo of the Month Contest for the next three months, and win the prize for 12 months, to ensure fairness and opportunity for other participants to win.

The shrimp picture is kinda ruined by a hunk of zucchini and big gobs of lead. It doesn't really look "au naturel". The shrimp looks great though!

I really like all of them, but number 1 is great even though the focus could have been a little better, the fish makes up for that.

this one is tough... there is usually one of two OUTSTANDING ones in a mess of good pics
this month they are all good... but all on about the same level of good
I think many peoples voting will be based on the animal that is in the pic rather than the quality of the photo
