That is so wierd! I have never seen anything like that. Sorry I can't help here. How long have you noticed this mysterious demon lookin' thing and have you seen anything missing in your tank?

It would sure scare the heck out of me if I had found it but then again I got creeped out finding black hair algae in one of my tanks several months ago. Needless to say, thats been killed off. :P)

Pic is bad but could be a Curlycue Anemone, Bartholomea annulata. Too much like an Aiptasia for my taste but people actually buy them on purpose.

There are Aiptasia species that look similar to Bartholomea, but aren't the same. FWIW, Bartholomea is an aiptasiid anemone, though ;). Try to get a better pic, if possible.

I have joes juice coming in with my other RK for this tank. if that doesnt work on it im probably going to end up tossing the rock, im kinda scared this thing will kill a coral.
heres the best pic i could get of it.. reefsafe or not?

It's not Bartholomea, but a very similar Aiptasia. Look carefully at photos of confirmed B. annulata and you'll see a clear difference in tentacle number and arrangement.

i actually kind of like my tank better without that rock, alot more sand area in the front and swimming room and so much more places to make a sand bed full of coral. i think i might go out and by a nice acan right now
