I have acquired a 29 gallon tank that came with a standard flourescent hood. I am planning to plant this tank and since I am unaware of any 30" long, 90 watt flourescent lights I'll probably have to replace the light hood.
Is there a cheap method of doing this? I'm aiming for 3-4 wpg if I can get it but 2 is minimum. The tank is rather tall so I'll need all the light I can get.
Should I just build my own canopy with some hardware store flourescent light kits?
