:tombstone:Chomper : betta girl (blue green silver)
October 14, 2009,
Around 3 or 4 pm, Chomper was healthy and happy (looking).
I next saw her October 15, around 3:30 am. Her eyes were bugged out (no red rims), she was mostly floating, but still swimming some.
I immediately removed her (examined all the fish quickly) and promptly woke the landlady (she really appreciated that, lol) so she could let me on her computer. I remembered seeing something called 'pop eye' when I was researching for bettas so I looked that up first. None of the descriptions mentioned anything about the fish appearing half dead, but it was the closest and most accurate that I could find. So I wrote down all the different treatments I'd read about.
Between 7 and 10 am, before the stores could open for me to even look for medicine, she had passed.
