THis was not here last night!

One of my clowns has a large white bump on the side of its head that i know was not there last night. im assuming its the female of the pair and shes out to see me every time im near the tank but when im not near it shes hiding behind her torch with her mate.

Only difference i can think off in water chemistry would be the reverting back to the regualr hood lights for the biocube (the mhs went over new tank)

It could be war wounds or a mucus build up, i hope it is not the beginning of the disease that starts with an L. heres a video to get a better look at her.. you can not miss this bump its large.

its the one thats in focus most of the time.. i knoticed no growth until today..

im doing a water change and rasing the salinity to 1.026 from .023

agh i really cant!

i think its cause im so used to my clowns and know all the spots on their bodies that i can reall only see it
look right behind her face to the upper right of her closer to her face dorsal fin.. im not making any sense just look like right behind where you think an ear should be haha

Ok, I believe I see it now. Unfortunately, it is still difficult to make out exactly what it is. Is the fish behaving fine otherwise? If so, then I would observe the site to see if it gets any worse, at least for now.

yea i did a quick water change (MORE SALT UGHH) raised the salinity. tomorrow ill do tests for irregularities. She(least im pretty sure she) is kinda just hiding a little bit behind the torch, and goes behind it every once in a while instead of going nuts everytime she sees me at the front of the tank, im hoping its just a bump she got from the rocks or from her mate. or maybe just a mucous build up.. ill just keep an eye on her for now, theyre to big for my 14 gal, its only another week before they're good to go in my solana

heres pics, best i could do! ughh :(

the best is the top right its the clown closer.. also known as Lord Henry

its gone now, it took a little bit of the black away but atleast i know its not a cancer now

Seems more like lymphocystis or just a little abnormality, especially if it came off. Just watch the site. I wouldn't be too concerned for now.
