Somebody stop me quickly if I am re-inventing the wheel.
I got this idea from a post the Wetman submitted in this thread (http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4276). His idea was to use ziplocs full of gravel to weight down driftwood. Great idea and it got me to thinking.
Why not fill hairnets with a planting medium? I beleive there would be several benefits:
1) They could be placed wherever you want; in a corner, in a wood or rock crevice or even mounted (somehow) to a back wall
2) Easier rinsing
3) Easier transplanting
4) Easier to administer fert tabs
5) Could it even be made to work with Cichlids?
