Somebody stop me quickly if I am re-inventing the wheel.
I got this idea from a post the Wetman submitted in this thread. His idea was to use ziplocs full of gravel to weight down driftwood. Great idea and it got me to thinking.
Why not fill hairnets with a planting medium? I beleive there would be several benefits:
1) They could be placed wherever you want; in a corner, in a wood or rock crevice or even mounted (somehow) to a back wall
2) Easier rinsing
3) Easier transplanting
4) Easier to administer fert tabs
5) Could it even be made to work with Cichlids?
