wat flourscent bulbs from like home depot or lowes stores that u can use for marine and plant tanks?

im building 4 double bulb 48in fixtures in a canopy for my 125 gallon long tank

which comes out to 320 watts, which is decent, im not growing anything that needs tons of light

and buyin bulbs from the lfs they are like 18 a piece

if i can get bulbs half price of that, would help me out alot

I use GE plant and aquarium wide spectrums. The 24" are only $5.00 CDN so I would imagine your 48" will be about the same in US$ at Lowes.

I normally used 1 Phillips Daylight Delux and 1 aquarium/plant bulb...gave a nice contrast between the blues and yellows of my Mbuna...but recently i got a great deal on GE Aquarays so now i stictly use those...all of which can be found for under 6 bucks each at lowes, home depot.

Any fixture that takes a t8 or t12 bulb will be cheap.
