This is the picture of a fish that I have seen lately for sale. It looks like a Cryptoheros species (definitly a female) but I do not know what species. the seller says that it is a very rare uraguay species but as far as I know Cryptoheros is a Central American genus. Could this be an attempt to sell off some hybrids? :shake: :sad  If this fish is for real its mine! Heres the pic.

From what I heard, they are another breed of Convict, not hybrid.

Possibly the Archocentrus sp. 'Honduran' female. A Convict..but lot more color.

without a doubt it's not a honduran red point. I own a couple of those and they are metalic/silver blue. Some people have told me it looks like a convict / nicaraguensis and I have to agree.

I agree with everyone else, its a convict. Possibly a "Calico" or just a really nice looking female.
