Other Anabantoids Pics

Here are some pics of my other Anabantoids that aren't my bettas (Who most are currently under the process of either having their tank moved or redecorated). I have a honey gourami, a golden honey grouami, and 2 female albino paradise fish. They all live together in a 29g tank and I have had no problems with any of them together. Once in a while I'll see one chase the other out of its "spot", but no aggresion. The paradise fish with the tear in its anal fin came that way, and its the only way for me to tell the two apart! Lol.

Also, forgot to mention. Please excuse any dirt on the outside of the glass, and the line of algae right along the top of the gravel on the glass. That is one spot that I can't get that great and usually give up on...

The paradisefish are doing OK with the gouramis? That's pretty cool. Looks like the paradisefish are a male/female pair.

Yea, they are doing ok. I think its because there's enough room and they all have someplace to go an hide if need be. I thought it was two females. Or maybe even young males since they don't have that much color and their fins are short. They're still pretty small though, so that's why I'm thinking they are still young. To me they look the same, and that's why I thought they were two females, or two young males.

It well could be two females, but I was assuming they were still young. In the bottom pic the top one looks like it's fins are a bit longer which could just be a difference between fish. But, if they're young, it could be the male's fins have not filled in yet. Also, the one on top has a thinner, longer body shape (male) and the bottom one looks thicker and shorter (female).

Yea, i have noticed that one was more plump, and as far as fins go, in real life they look exactly the same (and i have a hard time telling them apart). And they are still young. So, I guess we'll have to wait until they grow up.

Thanks though! which one was it that looks like it might be a male? is it the one with the rip in its bottom fin? Or the one without the rip? Just wondering so I can try and spot any differences as they age.

It's the one with the rip that looks male to me...the other looks plumper, less elongated.

It is hard to tell when they're young...but if I was a gambling man, I'd say you have a possible pair.
