I haven't been online in several months and I bought a new Nikon DSLR a few months back, so I thought I'd share some pics I took with it. I'm still getting used to the camera so these pictures aren't of the highest quality possible, but they're a lot better than I used to be able to take with my point and shoot camera. Enjoy!

Very nice! I love the length of the goldie's tail in the picture 3rd from bottom. Is that a ryunkin (spelling)?

oops...I'm not sure why it posted twice. Sorry!

Nice goldies!

Actually, the one you're refering to, as well as the other one that is similar but with white patches, are both common feeder fish from Walmart (not sure of the species name?). My fiance had one for six years that she won at a fair as a child so she wanted another one and felt like she was saving them from becoming fish food. I only wish I would have known what I know now about fish keeping; we would have never purchased them. I'm trying to convince her now that we need to put them in my buddy's gold fish pond so we can correctly re-stock the tank. Oh well.

Yeah, he's the most camera shy and therefore the most difficult to shoot. I'll see if I can get some good pics of him in the next couple days after I clean the tank. He's actually leucistic, which I know is unfavorable among breeders, but I think it's really cool.

all pretty fish :)
