I see a lot of Dojo Loaches at stores that seem to be bent out of shape. They have little kinks and angles all over their body. Does anybody know what causes this?

Pics would be necessary to really determine this...I have several and they often bend into wierd shapes when hanging out but always act straight and normal at feeding time...

These ones are definitely not doing it on their own will. I will have to take some pictures next time I can get to the store.
They aren't really bent, so much as like they have hard angled kinks in them.

I've heard of them jumping into the tank top & getting permanently bent. They also are often kept in poor conditions that they can survive, like goldfish.
