The really good part is all shipping is free if you have items sent to a walmart store for pickup, only tax is charged. I just bought the kit to be sent to my local walmart cost total a little over $15. Now that's the kind of economic stimulus we need instead of printing money and lifting travel travel restrictions to the USA.

That's what they have customer service for but even if it within a year, a little refrigeration go's a long way.

you have to watch i bought 2 things for my sons birthday from them and wanted to have them send it to local store they only sent 1 and the other had to be sent via mail,.. bummer,.. they trick you that way but if you only get 1 its ok,.. it tells you at check out if you can send to store,.. i like that part,..

Oops well that's the only catch, these are the regular master kit Amm, Nitri, Nitra, PH high/low. which is like 7 bottles. KH & GH were a typo originating from the company API and rightly so. I bought both GH/KH separately and I will probubly leave this earth before I finish it.
Personally I need the regular master kit which of course must contain Nitrate testing which they don't mention in the text, but it has to be there, not GH/ KH which is not necessary but a nice to have.
Youll see why in customer reviews.

Well so far Walmart is doing a great job informing me by email that my order is on its way to the store and will notify me again when it arrives.
If some of these big chain stores get their act together, having email orders delivered to the local store site at no charge could be the next big deal in email ordering.

Well the kit came in yesterday and the expiration date is good. It is the same freshwater Master API test kit we all know. Seven bottles total composed of two N03 bottles 1&2, Two PH bottles high/low range, one N02, two bottles NH3/NH4, 6 color cards, 4 test tubes, and the carry case with instructions. A great buy for $15 shipping included.

FYI: Called the company API which has been recently purchased by Mars Fishcare and they told me that the stamp LOT number on the bottles like the ones I received "LOT 27A0609" (06/27/2009) is not the expiration date but the manufacture date and that the product is good for 3 to 5 years most likely dependent on ambient temperature, obviously cold storage is better.
So because I still have some left in my old kit this new kit (bottles in a baggy) are going into the fridge until needed. But even if not these should be good until June 2012. Hmmm why does that date ring a bell?
