Highlights from the Georgia Aquarium - Warning: Pic Heavy

We went to a special event last night at the Georgia Aquarium, which was a blast!

Included in this post are pics of my partner and myself at the petting tank (sharks and sting-rays!) and pictures of the discus tank, which was FABULOUS!!

More discus, assorted cichlids, me in the pirahnna tank (well, ok I was in the bubble viewing window), some amazing schooling fish (no idea what kind), jelly fish, us at one of the saltwater tanks, an adorable fish playing in an anemone...

This is all photos from their giant tank. Whale sharks, giant groupers, etc. :) I could have sat in that room for days!! The last one is my partner and one of the giant groupers (her favorite fish because of its grumpy face. haha)

I'm just so amazed at how BIG they are!! And the first pic is one of the new manta rays, which they did not have last summer when we visited. :)

Holy moses! Makes me want to go even more. We had a trip to the aquarium planned but we had to cancel due to unforseen events. That is just awesome.
