i am looking to set up a marine tank with fish from the great barrier reef, i would love some suggestions on what i should get and how i should setup the tank. i am able to access all types of reef fish.
i would also like to apologise for my previous post.
any help would be much appreciated

Can you be more specific about what you're hoping the tank turns out to be? What you've stated is rather general, making it hard to provide much as far as recommendations go.
What size will the tank be?
Are you wanting to specifically set up a Great Barrier Reef biotope?
Will you be including corals, too?
What fish do you like?
Do you have plans to house one or more anemones?

a large tank 4-5ft and a 1.5-2ft wide, with plenty of vibrant colourful coral and fish to suit.

Sounds like a standard 75G-125G.
Answers to some of the listed questions would help a lot... Whether you are sticking directly to a GBR biotope, or you want variety is probably the biggest.

ok yea if you can give me a few different biotypes that have very vibrant and colourfull fish so yea a gbr one. one with clown fish or mandarin dragons

well see what youd like to keep, if youre trying to do coral make sure you have coral safe fish
a little school of something isnt commonly done in reefs, that could be cool
