I'm not convinced that it's actually real. If you'll notice, the way it's filmed, it can't really be confirmed that the head has been severed from the body. I think that if this was a film of a real experiment, those involved would have filmed at such an angle that would allow one to observe that the head was responding to stimuli AND that the head was actually severed.
Either way, I think the OP should have provided a stronger caution...perhaps 'extremely disturbing subject matter' versus simply 'strange'. Even though the video isn't gory, I can see some people (especially younger members) being seriously upset by the subject.
