I'm thinking about taking out my flourite gravel and replacing it with black flourite sand. However, it is a planted tank with plecos and the above mentioned loaches in it. Would the plants remain in place in 3 to 4 inches of sand, or am I out of my mind?
Would I be better off just putting some larger rounded type gravel on top of the flourite gravel I currently have in the tank?
