Hey all. I have an olive and tiger in a 3 gallon dorm tank.
All day today since around 8 they have been stuck to each other. I'm not sure if its just the olive fell asleep on the tiger and the tiger moved around a bit or what but this is what was going on:

So can they breed?

My horned nerite takes rides on my Mystery snail all the time. He'll just hang out on her shell for hours then crawl away.

I have various Nerites in the same tank and they do that occasionally. Your snails (and mine) might just be grooming (my guess).

I consider it grooming as well. Positioning isn't really right for breeding, lol

well they separated for about 3 mins and then they went back to it
My Spixis are always trying to breed with my Briggs:

I'm not 100% sure- but I think one was trying to mate with a yellow tylo once- which would be absolutely baffling considering the snails are so distantly seperated on the evolution tree and don't even look similar.
