I have 3-4 5 gallon tanks and I was wanting to heat them with either a hydor mini 7.5 or 15 watt heater. I would only have a betta or some cherry shrimp in them but the main issue is that the only room in the house that I have room to have them in is my 3rd floor fish room which we don't keep heated due to financial issues and we do live in Pa. where the weather can get down right freezing cold. Now these heaters I've read are preset and my question is would they keep the water temperature warm enough for a betta or cherry shrimp which both require mid 70's temperature. thanks.
