Hello everyone,
I recently converted my 40 g breeder from salt water to fresh and though I'd share some pics. I also have a couple of questions:
The tank was set up Saturday and the water is still cloudy. Is this normal?
I'm running a Rena X3 canister filter, which is rated for a tank up to 175 gallons, and I was expecting a sand storm, but there really isn't a lot of flow.
Any input, suggestions, comments, constructive criticisms are welcome!
Thanks,
Steven

Nice tank!

That is a really beautiful tank! The cloudiness is only temporary.

cloudiness should clear up pretty quick and won't get cloudy again untill your cycle is almost through for a day or so, if you want to speed up the cloudiness problem put a polishing pad in the canister for a little while.

it looks like there is ALOT of light over that tank. Whats your wpg rating? what kind of light is it?

just noticed this too, unless doing a planted tank, having too much light is a really easy way to get bad algea bloom and green water, may not be too much, but from the pics it looks like a lot.
