Frontosa Water condition?

Hello, I am thinking of buying some frontosas. They were currently in african water at my lfs with a high p.h of like 7.8. Say if I were to buy 4, can i transfer them to my freshwater tank. I currently don't have no african tanks and do not want to do an african tank. Is their any way I can keep frontosas in a ph of 7.2 and accumulate them?

fronts should be kept in groups when they are larger...we're talking about colony size. if you dont want to keep a big tank of just fronts, then they might not be for you.
