Aquabid and paypal question.

I bought 14 amano shrimp for my freshwater tank on aquabid, this is the first time I have ever purchased anything from the site. Am I supposed to just send them the money or is it like ebay where there is a pay now button? Also when I tried paying the person it said this recipient cannot recieve money at this time. Why would that be?

did you contact the seller to see their payment methods? and/or ask them whats up?

When you look at the listing for the bid you won, you'll see a link you can click on to email the seller. If there's something wrong with the seller's paypal account (which happens sometimes).. I'd strongly suggest making contact by email first before sending any money. A seller with an old transaction that's disputed and still unresolved might have his/her paypal account frozen. But it might be a simple glitch that doesn't mean anything is wrong.

If you get no response from the seller, then don't pay anything until you do. Post again here later on if that turns out to be the case. And we'll explain how to report that seller to Aquabid for a breach of sale. You're under no obligation to follow through on your transaction if the seller is no longer available or willing to cooperate.
