I look in my tank and notice it being a little cloudy, i just changed the watrer today i just thought it was that. Then i look on the bottom and see all this dust from the sand. I then take a closer look and see my catfishes "nose" stuck in one of those decorative caves u can buy at the store. I paniced so much cuz hes my favorite fish and had him for 6 years. I lift the cave up and go to push his nose in. It doesnt even budge at fist, im so scared im hurting him but he needs to be freed out. My heart is racing so fast. I push a little bit at a time untill i get some progress.I finally freed him and immedietly take out that cave. looks like he got some mouth wounds. I hope hes alright. i added some stress coat stuff.

The wound should heal up. I would say he is a bit stressed. Good Luck.

Doesn't look too bad. Make sure he eats (might not for a day or two), and then monitor for infection. If your tank is in good shape, he should recover pretty quickly.

Glad everything came out OK. I would feel the same as you in the same situation.

go with some melafix for a few to treat the wounds - but he looks like he'll be ok - good thing you found him in time! happy to hear he's ok!

I agree with LMOUTHBASS, a bit of melafix, but I've found they usually require half doses due to being scaleless?? Is this correct? Anyway glad to see he's okay. :D Feed him small food for the next couple of days, so it doesn't iritate his mouth.
