Ich questions...

Yesterday was the third treatment with Quick Cure. The fish look fine now so I guess they are cured. Whew, I was so worried. However, right before all this happened, I decided that I wanted to add some amano or ghost shrimp to the tank along with maybe 2 or 3 ottos, but it says on the Quick Cure package not to use with inverts. How do I make the water safe again so that I can get some inverts?? Will this require a complete water change? My tank is 55 gallons!

Read the insert, and look for indications of copper. Copper will kill inverts, and it will continue to leach from the objects within your tank for quite some time. I have a paper somewhere on how to remove copper from SW tanks--not sure, but it should work on FW as well. I will bring it in tomorrow.
