Thought I'd share a few photos, because I don't do that enough.
This is the High Line located in Manhattan. It was originally an elevated railroad which was decommissioned some 30 years ago, but was recently renovated into a park. As far as I know, it's the only fully elevated public park in the city.
The southernmost entry.
And this is what I like about the Highline, they left a lot of the tracks intact and grew the plants over it. It's a very nice urban-nature combination.
As you would imagine, the Highline runs through some buildings.
Green elevator of DOOOOOOOM!
Another building it runs through, with trippy blue lights. Notice the people resting on the beach-style chairs on the right. They don't know they 'bouts to be robbed.
Train tracks that lead nowhere.
Train tracks that run into the wall, because that's always a smart idea.
Empire State Building off in the distance. Had I a better camera or better photography skills, this would've looked amazing. But I don't, so settle.
