BTW My 5 SAEs are around 4 to 5 inches each. I have had them for about 2 years now.

I have two, both under a year old and both between 4 and 5". I believe one to be a male and one a female based on their interactions with each other. One is a bit bigger than the other. The first 3 pics are the same SAE, the 4th pic is the other one who did not want to smile for the camera too much.

Thank you both for the pictures.
Of course, pinkertd, yours are just beautiful and the fish are gorgeous.
Are these adults still eating algae as expected?

My 2, at close to 6" each, eat much more of this than they do algae !

Mine still eat algae. But there's not enough to sustain the fish. They also eat whatever I throw in the tank for everyone else. And they LOVE zucchini! A lot of people state that the SAE's eat other food in the tank, but if there's not enough algae to sustain them, of course they will. The bristlenose are algae eaters as well but need supplemental food too.

What type of photo camera do you use and what settings to take the great pics?

Those big SAE look nice, I wonder if I added a few to my 150 If they would bother my ornate bichir and fire eel.

Those pics were taken with my Canon Power Shot SD1100 IS, Digital Elph, on the macro setting. For smaller fishy subjects I've been bringing home the Canon Rebel DSLR I have at work. But I recently got a sic deal on a Pentax DSLR K100D Super with an extra lens included and can't wait to try that one out...sadly haven't had time, but my son grabbed it and started taking pictures with the extra lens and they looked awesome.

I don't think they bother anything in the tank.

Ok I was just thinking they would be like plecos.

No, not at all like a pleco.
