It is nothing to back out of, if you have the opportunity to socialize with an octopus, I would take it! It was really cool, they're very playful and gentle, even when testing your limits. I wouldn't have wanted it to bite me, but it really didn't seem to want to at all, it just wanted to squeeze and pull and play. It was fun and surreal.
