I recently purchased two Maroon Clowns from my LFS. They get along great one is large (3 1/2 to 4 inches) They were attracted to a rose anenome that I also got at the same time in the LFS. It seems these two clowns are constantly in the anenome...so much so that it sometimes looks like they are thrashing it. They anenome has looked better at times. Sometimes it totally scrunches up and withers in all its tentacles almost looking dead. Then the next morning it seems revived. The large clown almost seems to overpower it. I have heard that clowns can smother a anenome. What signs should I look for and how to prevent. Also I should mention I have a smallish bubble anenome in the tank that the smaller clown sometimes likes. Also the smaller clown also seems to like rubbing around in some of the soft corals I have. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
