View Full Version : Scratch inside tank

I just noticed a small 1/4 inch scratch on the inside bottom left corner of my tank. It is small and barely noticeable. I can barely feel it with my nail so it's not very deep. Call me paranoid, but i'm just afraid of coming home to an empty tank. Should i worry?

How big is the tank?
If it's just a scratch, I wouldn't worry about it. I have a few tanks with deep scratches, and they've never leaked.
All of my tanks are used and have a few scratches in them. No problems for surface scratches.

Scratches aren't a problem, cracks are.

No worries with the scratch.... although it's a real bummer, isn't it? You will always notice that scratch! No one else will though. :)

It sucks to be this anal about a scratch. I guess i'll get over it ;)
