I'd have to say the "Let the aquarium run for three days after you put in the 'makes water safe for fish instantly' and then you can buy an oscar, 2 angelfish, a columbian shark, and 15 neon tetras for a ten gallon aquarium."

"Aquarium size doesn't matter, if the fish will go through the hood/cover, it'll be just fine in there":argh --imbecile

-or-

Every tank needs a pleco to eat algae:eeek:

bettas can't live with ANY other fish

you don't need to stock slowly

the chemical ones are good. If there is something wrong, there is something in this bottle to cure it.

I favor the goldfish myths:

gold fish are fine living in a little bowl
gold fish are fine for community tanks
gold fish only have a life expectancy of a few months.

Uhhhh, well, if you put a goldfish in a little it WILL ONLY live a coupla months, esp. if you don't change the water.
