Hi guys, been told send a shout out to the community so thought of saying hello!! And telling you what I've got.
My name is Mark, and I'm a student in Johannesburg, studying a BA in Visual Communication (www.openwindow.co.za). ITS AWESOME!
Anyways, just bought some Mono Angels a week ago, they are 1.5inches pretty active and just beautiful. $6/each, not too bad hey! I have 2 Argentus and I Sebae, and they do school nicely. At the moment they are in a brack-tank, but with my water changes i'm taking 15% out, and adding 15% of Aquasafed-ReverseOsmosis water.
In 5-6weeks I will be transferring them from there current home (8gal) tank to the community tank (32gal). The community tank currently has:
1 Siamese Male (2inch)
4 Siamese Females (2inch)
6 Neon Tetra (0,8-1inch)
5 Glow Light (1inch)
4 Silver Zebra Angels (1inch)
2 Fancy Plecs
When the Mono Angels head to the community tank, the Siamese Figheters will be leaving.
Fatalities:
27 November: 1 Neon
2 December: 1 Neon, 1 Angel
No water issue, the Ph is 7, nitrate is completely clear
Really hoping for an awesome entry into the community.
Future:
Brine Shrimp Breading - if possible..
Salt water tank, when I'm all grown up
Mono Angel Breading
Current Problem:
Mono Angels seem to be less active, and the smaller of the two Argentus's is completely dark, with no yellow.
Nothing wrong with eyes, and seem to be functioning.
They have had a water change 2 December.
