I just picked up some Danios after some fish loss... I feel confident this time since I'm replacing the water with R/O drinking water during water changes, slowly lowering the pH and diluting some of the 300ppm hardness :p

So I put 4 Danios in and my Ottos thinks he is a Danio!!! He schools with them and follows them around , chases them and even sleeps next to them

I hope he remembers that he has some algae to eat ;)

I think I read somewhere on here that Otos like each others' company. Maybe he just wants some friends :) Plus, more otos would = algae being removed faster = more time to play with danios:p

 I once had a goat that thought he was a horse.

Yes, you may want to get more otos. They like to be in groups.

My cherry barb thinks its a cory and one of my bettas thinks its an ADF. Also, one of my male gouramis is homosexual. Beat that!

EDIT: (Not to get too offtopic, but the goat comment reminded me of something. My family used to have a goat that wanted to be a dog. He liked walks on leashes and went everywhere with us. He also like to be held/cradled like a baby. Cute little bugger!)

Not to hijack the thread, but was it a pygmy goat. It would be kinda hard to cradle a full size goat like a baby.

my cat wants to be a dog......... go figure, he tries to go with me when i walk the dog and sort of acts like he wants a leash. he also comes when called, alot better than the dog does. i know it's bad, but you can't keep him out of the dogfood. at least i use eukanuba, but i seriously doubt he's a "giant breed". ;)

he even occasionally attacks the dog, even the the dog is literally 25 to 50 time larger....... :D

oh.... and the otos :D :D :D

just get more? they like "friends".

(grassguy...this was a full sized goat. It was a nubian. We got him as a baby, which was when it was easiest to hold him like that....but after he got a bit bigger you really had to put some oomph into holding him like that. Plus, my dad was usually the one that held him and he's a really big guy. Thats funny about the cat btw;) And while we're totally offtopic...I had a weimeranner that liked to graze with the horses and eat grain.)

I have a pet gorilla that holds me like a baby. ;)

He usually wears overalls and a big straw hat around the house...we frequently sit together and watch TV and such.

My only complaint is that he spends way too long in the bathroom doing his....'business.'

:p
