what is the fish at 3:37 that spits and takes its fry back in? i thought it was a cyprichromis, but im not sure if it is or what species of cyprichromis it is.

It is some type of sandsifter. Don't know them well enough to say which one.

Although not 100, first thing pop in my head was Haplotaxodon Sp and 2nd possibility was Callochromis Sp.
Google these and perhap you may find the right nomenclature but as you know, it isnt easy task thru vid or pics.

I agree it looks like a sand sifter sorta resembles my Callochromis.. Not sure on exact specie..
