I was cycling my freshwater, with some platys,sword tails, and a pleco. Everything was working out great. I bought 80 gallons worth of Superbac Aquarium Nitrifying Bacteria, some for my 55 gallon, some for my breeder 7 gallon. My LFS, said that it will raise my Nitrite a bit but then after a couple days it should settle. I also got 4 angels because the store said they would be ok if I got the superbac stuff. They seem very happy except one seems to be always hanging out alone near the heater. The nitrite went up alright, I lost a platy, but it was due to swim bladder issues. So I was wondering is superbac works for you guys, noob here xD.
