The festae looks to be about an inch shoter...just not as high bodied as the carpintis. Nice fish :)
What brand gravel is that in the tank with the sajica?

thanks darth........
the gravel in the tank has been there a while, but if memory serves it's a dark natural river gravel (dont recall if its a pea gravel). I prefer the natural look in most of my tanks. But as you can see, there are tiny blue pieces mixed in from years of netting fish in and out.......
BTW Peifc..where in NY are you located?

I just ordered a 100lbs of Estes shallow creek gravel and just wondered if that was what you were using... great looking stuff. Beats the heck out of the stuff my LFS carries (Hagen only)...even Hagen natural gravel glows under flurorescent lighting.

Darthv....
yeah, gotta love that natural brown-colored river look....I dont buy gravel from LFS anymore anyway. If I need gravel or sand, I go to Home Depot and get a much larger bag much cheaper. I must have about 200 pounds of blue gravel sitting in rubbermaid bins.......
peifc......just curious whenever I see a NY location.....
