Where the wild things are
I have a Whisper 3 that I got used and wanted to fix just 'cuz I hate to throw stuff away. Cleaned the impeller real nice and checked the hole in the energizer, all seems to be as it should. Magnet and shaft are fine. Pop the energizer out, put in the impeller and install the stabilizing cap where the siphon tube attaches and it runs like a swiss watch. Put it back into the filter tank and still runs great. Cover with water and it spins to a stop.

Don't mind replacing the impeller, it's only a couple of bucks, but this is a marginal HOB at best and I really just want to get it working so I've got a spare. Haven't priced the energizer but I'm thinkin' that $15 or so plus shipping is likely and that would be a deal breaker. Any suggestions or guesses would be greatly appreciated 'cuz this ones beyond my pay grade.
