I bought a Ram a few days ago. I took a pic and someone suggested it might be a Bolivian. I think it was labeled as a Blue Ram.It was the only one at the store. It was in a tank with Bleeding Heart Tetras. . Its about 2 inches and its starting to show more color as days go by.Thanx in advance.

Much easier to tell in those pics. It's a GBR. Hopefully you have better luck than I did. Mine didn't last long at all.

Im trying. He wont eat up top. He jus picks at things on rocks and plants. I cant get to the store until monday to pick up some frozen foods.

I know. I havent seen him take in any food. He just picks at gravel and plants. He took in a flake once but spit it out. I cant pick up frozen food til tomorrow

Although it could be GBR but not all blue rams are BGR. It could simple blue ram which I know is not as colorful nor strong as BGR. I think this one is more commonly and simply known as blue ram.
BGR is selectively bred morph of blue ram and was avail to our market on regular base for about 10-15 yrs. I know there are still common blue rams avail on the market and they are usually cheaper than GBR.

I could see the tucked in belly. I dont think it will go after any veggie at this point.

Try blackworm or other frozen insect larvae, provided water parameters are within acceptable range for Ram.
