I'm lookin' into getting some wild stock, but I'm kinda having a tough time finding info on quality importers. I delt with a company called African Diving Limited years ago, but when I tried to access their web site, it would seem they have moved on, or are out of bus. now. Does any one have some suggestions for me on this one?? Guess it would help to let you know that I am specifically interested in Tanganyikan species. TIA.

african diving has stopped for a year or so. Not sure why, but they are. Have you tried Old World Exotics? ive gotten many great looking wild caught fish from them. I believe you have to be a business though.
here are a couple others Ive ordered from and gotten great fish...

How much have you ordered from Armke's?? I've heard some negitive things about their fish, but then again, one unhappy customer can make more of an impression then 500 happy ones. Its just kinda hard to know who to trust and who not to some times......as far as I can see with Armke's, they have a very impressive stock list, so they most be doing something right, perhaps I could give them a shot if Chip don't get back to me any time soon for what I want. Thanks again.
BTW, loved your pics of the convention, even though one of them has a nice view of my bald mellon.....;)

i live in new braunfels, tx. hometown of armkes. from what i have seen they have a nice operation. the only thing i've seen there that raised an eyebrow was they thought their fahaka was a mbu. [ they dont normally sell puffers so it's an honest mistake]
and once a new girl gave me the wrong fish. but it was worth more so i took it. i'm sorry i wont do it again.
just a note. i dont know if it will affect their mail order business but they are about to move into a new building . 60 -125g tanks on a central water change system plus some of the tanks from the old building.. i imagine individually filtered to avoid spreading diseases. it should be pretty cool. i am looking forward to it.

Seems you Texans get all the good wholesaler's and importers. I noticed a lot of the larger outfits are in texas.....must be because of the weather.
