When I put my brain coral in the tank, it was soft, after a couple of weeks it's hard as a rock, is this normal

Sounds like it is completely withdrawn. This is not a good sign and means that it is aggravated and/or ailing. What are your water parameters? What lighting and how much water flow is it in?

It's a 55g tank with 1 K3, and a Fluval 405, and my protein skimmer, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrate 0.5 nitrite 8ph, havn't got my calcium test kit yet, but I have been dosing recommended doses of nitrate, calcium and trace elements every other week. All other corals in the tank are in excellent shape, I have 7-8 hermits, 1 mex turbo snail, orange backed butterfly, flame angel, coral beauty, 3 clowns and a lawnmower blenny, and 2 chromis, only the butterfly has picked at it once, I moved the brain coral and the butterfly hasn't touched it yet, I am running 1 10k actinic, and 1 18k t5, where the brain coral is it would get moderate flow, and high light it is at the bottom of the tank on the substrate which is small\med agronite. Salinity is at 1.026 same as LFS where purchased. I think it's dead, it hasn't moved and it's has hard as a rock, when i put it in the tank it was very slimey had the consistancy of....well thick snot....pardon the phrase.

Is it white? It's only dead if it's white. You'll also need an alkalinity test kit in addition to calcium.

One of the corners are white, the rest is still very colorful, I moved it up higher in the tank so that it gets a little more light.

If the rest still has color, then it is still alive.

What is the best way to bring this brain back to life again, how can I revive it!

I would actually move the coral back down lower and attempt to feed it. Try taking whatever you normally feed and squirt a bit at the coral and wait to see if you get any feeding response. At this point, assuming everything is alright as in one of your above posts, that is about all you can do. Try to avoid the temptation to move it. Also make sure it is in lower flow for the time being.
