Not bad. It's going to be plenty sturdy. But for me, if you are going to use 4x4 as legs, I would have notched the 4x4 and use less wood. In your case, just 4 4x4 legs notched and for the 2x4 or 2x6 for a little overkill. This way, you are using less screws and stand is lighter.

This is mine for a 180 and 125gal tank.

I would add some lateral support if you're not going to skin it. If you're going to skin it you'll be fine without it.

I have drunk friends that bump into the ends of tanks so I'm always paranoid about lateral bracing.

For the cost of a 2x4 it's worth it IMO lol.

Very nice and functional stand, very tall I notice, what about 50" high. I didn't appreciate a 24" stand until my last one was that high for my 244 tank and accessibility is so much easier compared to my other 120 tank which sits on my 30" stand and always requires a ladder stool.

Are you going to finish the outside with stain?

Definitely sturdy looking..my 125 sits on skinned 1x4s...

I think it looks plenty strong! I started to comment that it needed more supports on the horizonal 2x4s but when I looked at the pics again you have already done it!
