In my 5 gallon the shrimp have relentlessly been grooming my brigg for 2 days. My brigg has closed up in her shell tightly and not moved. Now the ramshorn are getting in on the action. I think it's time to separate my girl but I don't have another tank set up she could go in. I could put her in a breeder trap but I'm leaving Friday for the holidays and won't be back till the 27th. What to do?

I have had shrimp irritate my brigs to the point they stop eating entirely and die. I would find a way to isolate her or move her if at all possible. This is one pitfall of a small tank and the mixed inhabitants.

I wonder if that is what is happening to mine. They are droppin like flies. My Nerites are fine and my MTS are fine but my Briggs are dieing! Crud!

I dunno. All my other snails are just fine but my brigg is not happy about the grooming.

Will she be fine in the breeder while I'm gone for a week? I could throw in a plant and some veggies before I go. Then When I get home I can set up the 15 gallon and move her to that.
