Im moving into my new house on Jan 4th and will immediatly begin my 120x24x18 - 225 gallon build. I just can't decide what to stock it with. What would be some good larger fish that aren't overly boisterous or rowdy? I love big fish and small fish, so i cant make up my freakin mind.
I think big schools of different barbs would be awesome, but on the other hand, a couple oscars and maybe a silver arowana would be cool too. Give me some new ideas please!:uhoh:

If you want to go with an arowana, you should build a tank with 120x30x whatever height you decide. 30" wide will give the arowana enough space to turn to prevent gill curl and other health problems in the future.

There are far too many fish to give a general stock list without personal preferences.

What are some of your favorite fish? That would make it easier for people to help out.

Well let see, i love barbs for starters. Heres a list of stock i had in mind.
-30 tiger barbs
-10 green tiger barbs
-10 gold barbs
-10 rosy barbs
-5 spanner-T barbs
-10 checker board barbs
-5 silver dollars
-1 leporanis
-1 anostomus
-1 pink tailed charachin
-1 red tail shark
-1 raphael cat
-10-12 cory cats

Anyone have ideas on a few other fish that i could add that would give more size to the equation?
