I just finished planting my 36 gal bowfront. so it has 90% new water. When should I dose the tank. now while it's cloudy or after the water clears . I used 15 lbs new flourite, and at least that much substrate from my 20 gallon that has seachem root tabs in it so there is some fert in there.

Depends...I assume that you've got high light and co2, hence the dosing question. You may be interested in this:

no co2, 80 watts over 36 gal. I dose seachem products but need to move to co2

You're going to want to focus on CO2 with that much light. Or a boat load of excel.
Without carbon, the plants won't use much light or nutrients. But the algae will.

yeah that's what I've been thinking. I have managable algae in my 29 with 80 watts. the 36 seems to be taller, I need to measure them, I think my plants are just shorter lol.
