I am thinking I will get a betta for my friend for Christmas if I can find a reasonable and small aquarium for cheap.

What type of betta should I get?
 
I have a twin tailed (double tail) Betta and (IMO) they are gorgeous! i also have currently a veil tail and a couple others in the past along with a crown tail and the twin is by far my fav! their caudal fin never folds on itself or floats behind them. It's like its on perma-flair even when the Betta isn't flaring. so im saying go with the double tail!
 
Just go look at them all and see for yourself. You should also go on how the betta reacts to you from within the cup he'll probably come from.
 
I think u should go with a nice healthy fish
 
I like crown tales and half moons
 
I think whatever I'll get, I want it to be healthy, that's by far the most important thing.

I didn't vote. I think fish make bad presents (unless they are given to a person who is already into fish, and who knows they are getting a fish as a present). Just my opinion, though.
 
Don't worry winged, he is for one of my best friends and I will be there to help them the whole way and to watch over Merlin. That's what we named the little cutie!
