What is your opinion on the best placement for powerheads (Koralia's etc.) in a standard shape tank.

I was thinking about putting them either in the two corners pointing towards the front center, or in the center facing away from eachother (pointing at the two front corners)

What are your thoughts?

I would go with one on each of the sides of the tank, one of them facing at an angle towards the front of the glass, one facing exact opposite towards the back of the glass. Try and make a whirlpool type effect so you get flow moving all around your tank, not running into each other and cancelling each other out when they hit.

now, what if in the midst of this, I also have a powerhead (required to maintain siphon on my overflow...), and in the front right corner of the tank I have my sump return pump (currently putting out more flow than the ac30 powerhead)?

Should I just use a K1 and my powerhead, or should I use two k1's and powerhead, and if so, how to arrange?

Thanks for always answering Ace!
