Will this work? I've read a few sources that have suggested it. I have an awkwardly shapes piece of driftwood that I want to attach some anubias to but I don't think using fishing line will work.
What I'm worried is that if I glue the roots to the wood the glue will kill the roots and therefore the plant. But that may be completely wrong, hence this post :D
thanks

I've done it many times. I don't put the glue on the roots, though, I put the glue on the rhizome part instead (it's thicker anyway). Be sparing with the glue and try not to let any part of it drip down as it can turn whitish when put back in the water. BTW, the driftwood and the plant should be relatively dry . . .

Do it all the time no plant losses at all. I have also glued mosses, ferns and other things with superglue in the tank.

Glue away! I prefer the look to any other attachment method I have tried! :D

I've done this a lot and it works great... the glue can also be applied and will set underwater so you don't even have to pull all the driftwood out of the tank to do this.
Have fun with it and take some photos for us if you can.
wow!! i wish i woulda known about this before!! ill have to file this away for future use :D

I've used rubber bands, myself. Just cut them when the plants are fastened.
