Is this snail good for a planted tank? Will they eat the plants and have 100+ baby's?

I'm not really sure could I have some other views? Is it by itself or with others?

It's a Bladder Snail, and yes, they can breed out of control.

Common Bladder or a Pond Snail for sure hard to tell which one from the angle, betting on the bladder though. Does it have donkey ears or antenna? Donkey ears = Pond / antenna = Bladder

So to answer your questions
Plants - Will not harm
1000+ Babies - Oh yea you'll have babies....:grinyes:

Just keep your feedings light and they should not become a real problem if they do there are a few means to get rid of them.

#1 Manual Removal
#2 Assassin Snails
#3 Snail eating fish but only if you are prepared to keep them.

Sorry, had a brain fart. It's a Pond Snail. You can tell by the direction the shell spirals.

:iagree: Now that you can see it fully. Really no big deal I have some in every tank that they can survive in.

If you keep your feeding in check, they won't become a problem. I have them in quite a few tanks and they've never harmed my plants. I do keep them in my brigg tank and overfeed on purpose so I can feed my loaches with them. My angels also seem to have a taste for them.
